HORSE RIDING LESSONS

Hunter and equitation lessons offered for all levels of riders age 5 yrs to adult

 

  • Lessons are offered Monday thru Friday

  • Many lesson horses / ponies available

  • 2 professional instructors allows for easy scheduling

 

Horse Riding Lesson prices:

 

Group Lessons:            $70.00

Semi-Private Lessons:     $70.00

​​

Private Lessons:            $70.00

​

 

We offer 1/2 hour private and 1 hour group lessons.

​

Payments are due by the Friday of the week the lesson is taken. If payment is not received a $5.00 late fee will be charged.

**ANY CANCELLATIONS DONE AFTER 12:00 NOON THE DAY OF THE SCHEDULED LESSON WILL REQUIRE PAYMENT**

RULES OF THE BARN

 

 

  • ATTIRE: Long pants are required for horseback riding. Although riding boots and breeches/jodhpurs are not required, they are highly recommended. Loose or baggy clothing, which could become a safety issue, must be avoided.

​

  • FOOTWEAR: All students must wear appropriate footwear at all times while working around and riding horses. Appropriate footwear is a hard-soled shoe with a heel. Absolutely, no tennis shoes, sandals, or sneakers.

​

  • HELMETS: All students MUST wear a certified ASTM-SEI approved riding helmet. If you do not have your own, OORF will provide the use of a helmet.

​

  • CELL PHONES: Students are not permitted to bring their cell phones into the riding rings/use their cell phones while on horseback. 

​

  • LESSON CANCELLATIONS: Students (or parents) are financially responsible for all lessons not canceled before 10:00am on the scheduled lesson day. Notice of cancellation can be made by email or calling Lauren @ 610-425-8801.

​

  • PAYMENT: OORF accepts Venmo, checks or cash for lessons. Checks should be made payable to Out Of Reach Farm, payments MUST be made on or before the Friday of the week the lesson is taken. Any payment not received will incur a $5 late fee.

​

  • RETURNED CHECKS: There is a $25.00 charge for any returned check.

​

  • PARKING: Please, please, please drive in and out of the property very slowly. There are often children and animals in the driveway.

​

  • CHILDREN: Supervision of children on OORF premises is the responsibility of the parent or a supervisor appointed by them. Children must stay with the appointed person at all times.

​

  • RUNNING OR SCREAMING: No Running or screaming in or around the stable areas.

​

  • JUMPING: NO ONE is allowed to jump without an instructor.

​

  • NO PETS: THANK YOU.

​

  • FEEDING HORSES: Please do not feed the horses. 

​

  • NO SMOKING in and around the barn areas.
